The new inlet "tee" makes them more
versatile
than ever before and can be used for all
refrigerants using 1/4"MFL and 1/2" ACME
fittings.
The efficient offset rotary vane, two-stage design
pulls down to 50 microns for fast, thorough
removal of air and moisture from A/C systems.
Weighing just 10 pounds, it's easy to carry, to use
and to store between jobs.
1/8 HP motor has a capacitor start which easily
overcomes starting torque requirements; also has
built-in overload protection.
The integral check valve prevents pump oil from
being sucked into the system if a power loss
occurs.
The rugged polycarbonate handle and base keep
weight down and reduce potential shock hazards.
The easy-view sight glass makes it simple to add
the proper amount of vacuum pump oil; oil fill plug
is conveniently located so it's easy to reach.
The sturdy Lexan handle and base stay cool to the
touch during operation.
Gas ballast helps keep the pump oil clean for a
longer time, increasing the efficiency of the pump.

One piece of equipment is all you need for A/C and
refrigeration service.
The 17800-2K recovers, recycles, evacuates and
recharges all in one fast, continuous operation through
one hook-up. It's ideal for refrigerated trailers, buses
RV's and other vehicles that use more than one
refrigerant. The Cool-Tech Multi is also great for fleet-
maintenance, covering a variety of makes and models
since it has R-12 and R-134a capabilities. In-plant
maintenance departments will find it can handle the
different types of refrigerants used in various systems.
Proven technology simplifies service! Microprocessor - Controls functions; prompts lead you
through programming and also signal when it's time to
change the filter-drier, vacuum pump oil and compressor
oil. Float Chamber - Automatically adjusts from liquid to
vapor for most efficient recovery. Electronic Scale - Makes it simple to recharge to
factory specifications; also weighs recovered refrigerant
and provides tank overfill protection. Cool-Tech Vacuum Pump - 6 CFM has the capacity to
thoroughly evacuate system, readying it for recharging.
Versatility for many types of systems! Lockout Panel - Prevents mixing of refrigerants; slides
to one side for 1/4" fittings and to the other for 1/2"
Acme fittings. Single Pass Recycling - Makes an initial pass through
the filter-drier; additional recycling can be programmed
in case of compressor burn-out, other conditions. Heavy Duty Filter Drier - Removes moisture and acid
from the refrigerant; can handle up to 300 pounds
between changeovers.
Comes with two 50 pound tanks, one with 1/4" fittings
and the other with 1/2" Acme fittings. Also three sets of
charging hoses are included - one for R-12, one for
automotive R-134a (with field couplers), and one for
other refrigerants using 1/4" SAE fittings.
